Innovator Genome

Nobody is one innovator.

You are all five: Researcher, Designer, Maker, Promoter, Manager. What makes you distinctive is the proportion. First you guess your own mix. Then fifteen questions, about four minutes. Then you see both, side by side.

How it works

Your guess, then three passes

First, your own guess. You set the five yourself, on sliders, before you see a single question. It is locked away until the end, then shown against the result. The gap is the point.

Pass one, 10 statements. How true each one is of you. Two per innovator, one about what drives you and one about what irritates you, because irritation is the more honest signal. This measures each innovator on its own, so a person can be strong at several.

Pass two, 4 forced choices. Four situations, and in each you pick the most and least like you. Nobody can be top of everything here. This is what separates a real signature from wishful thinking.

Pass three, your own words. One thing you made or ran that you are proud of. The language you reach for is read for signal and used to break ties.

Scoring runs entirely on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there is no API key involved.

What you will not get

A box. The result is never "you are a Maker". It is a mix, five numbers, with a primary and a secondary that emerge from the numbers rather than replace them. Your mix also moves: run it again in six months of different work and expect it to shift.

Your face, inside the ring

The border is your mix. The middle is you. Pick a photo and drag it into place.
